COVID-19 Update: Code Red Revised Reception Hours

Please be advised that following the Province’s implementation of Code Red effective today, Monday, November 2nd, Cushman & Wakefield | Stevenson’s reception at 55 Donald Street will be open reduced hours: From 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, closing for lunch, and then reopening 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. The office remains closed to visitors, but reception will accept deliveries and payments during those windows.

We’d like to remind everyone that masks are mandatory in our offices at this time.

We are working hard to ensure we are doing our part to keep our staff, clients, and community stay safe from COVID-19. Although much of our workforce is working from home in order to eliminate contact, we are still ‘open for business’ for anything you may need.

COVID-19 Update: Office Closed to Visitors

Cushman & Wakefield | Stevenson has been a leader in creating a safe work environment during the pandemic. With our Six Feet Office launch, we helped dozens of Manitoba companies re-work their space to ensure a socially-distanced, healthy environment for their staff and customers.

As cases in Manitoba continue to rise, we have once again decided to put the safety our clients and staff first. We have decided that limiting the flow of people into our shared spaces is one of the best ways we can help avoid the spread of COVID-19. With that in mind, our offices at 55 Donald Street will be closed to the public effective today until further notice. Our reception will be available during regular business hours to accept mail and deliveries.

We want to continue to help you maximize the value of your real estate as your real estate partner. Although our doors are closed to visitors, we are still very much open for business and we can’t wait to hear from you!

COVID-19 Update at Cushman & Wakefield | Stevenson

With the Province moving the pandemic response level to restricted last week, I wanted to provide an update to our valued clients and friends about how we are operating at our office.

As always: Safety is our number one priority. As you know, we launched our Six Feet Office concept at our offices at 55 Donald Street back in July (check out the video tour here!) to ensure social distancing for both employees and guests. Because of these proactive precautions, we are able to continue to operate without any change to our operations while Winnipeg is in the restricted response level. Our employees are continuing to work from home as well as in the office on rotating schedules. Although our building is still not open to the public, we are continuing to welcome guests by appointment as long as they adhere to our guest policies. These include safety practices that have become standard since COVID-19, like asking people to rescheduling if they are exhibiting symptoms of illness, sitting six feet apart in our meeting rooms, and wearing a mask if they need to enter common employee work spaces.

2020 has been a year of challenges for us all. While no company has been immune to the effects of the pandemic, I am grateful that Cushman & Wakefield Stevenson team has weathered the storm so far with fortitude. We share our clients’ commitment to ‘carrying on’ and moving ahead. Thank you for choosing us to be your real estate partner.

Cushman & Wakefield | Stevenson’s ‘6 Feet Offices’ Open To Guests By Appointment

Manitoba has been leading the country in best practices for managing COVID-19. Cushman & Wakefield | Stevenson has been trying to follow suit by helping Manitoba businesses bring their workforces back into their spaces using the Six Feet Office resources developed by our global network. These physical and behavioural guidelines help companies create a socially-distanced, safe environment regardless of whether you are an industrial, office, retail or multi-family residential space. They have been used to bring people back into over 800 million square feet worldwide to date.

We have just completed implementing these elements into our own offices at 55 Donald Street. We will be sharing photos and videos soon – but we also hope that you can come and see them for yourself soon!

With that in mind – I’m pleased to advise that CW Stevenson is easing its restrictions for having visitors to our office. Our offices are not yet open to the public, but starting July 6, guests will be welcomed by appointment. We will be asking our guests to follow some safety practices that have become standard since COVID-19, like asking people to rescheduling if they are exhibiting symptoms of illness, sitting six feet apart in our meeting rooms, and wearing a mask if they need to enter common employee work spaces. With these small adjustments, we will create a comfortable, safe environment where we can come back together to discuss how we can help you maximize the value of your real estate.

When our team reflects back on the past few months, we can’t help but feel grateful for the strong connections we have been able to continue to build with our clients, partners and friends despite challenging circumstances. We loved seeing your more ‘casual attire’ on web cams, with the occasional toddler or pet wandering past in the background. We have appreciated your questions and feedback as we all navigate unfamiliar situations together. Now that we have a chance to see each other face to face, we are excited to welcome you back with socially-distanced open arms.

Stay well,

Cushman & Wakefield | Stevenson – 6 Feet Office Page

Cushman & Wakefield | Stevenson is pleased to introduce a new dedicated 6 Feet Office page on our website. It’s difficult for businesses to predict what our commercial spaces will look like going forward and how we will change employee behaviours to adapt to ‘the new normal’. We want to help Manitoba businesses on this journey – so we have compiled the resources from our global partners to help you navigate your workforce’s road back to work.

Manitoba is getting back to business – and Cushman & Wakefield | Stevenson is here to help.

This week marks a turning point for Manitobans during COVID-19. Manitobans came together by staying apart, and today, the first wave of non-essential businesses began opening their doors to customers again.

After many conversations with our friends and partners, I’ve reflected on what this pandemic has meant for our clients. Without doubt, it has been challenging, but it has also been a catalyst for innovation, creativity and kindness. I’ve admired companies who have been nimble and adjusted their products and services in response to rapidly-shifting consumer demands. I’ve also been inspired by organizations that supported the community during this time, and by the fortitude shown by front line workers (including our own – shout out to the #ActsOfMainteNICE team!).

Regardless of whether you are an essential service, whether you opened your doors this week or if you are a company that is starting to think about what your return to the office looks like, there is a lot to consider. There is no way to predict what the new normal will be, but we know that COVID-19 will have lasting impacts on the way we interact in our spaces.

There is a roadmap for how to prepare – and we are here to help.

Global experts at Cushman & Wakefield in the Netherlands have created a set of guidelines for what they have coined “The Six Feet Office” which help businesses set up their spaces in order to maintain social distancing without sacrificing an effective work environment. You can find more information on the Six Feet Office site or by contacting us.

We are proud to be part of the corporation that is leading the globe in getting people back to work. If you think we can help you, please reach out.

The journey for every company will be different, but regardless, we all need a map to help us get there. Thank you for being part of our journey.
